logo design + squarespace website design + copywriting + business & technology training
When Tanis and I met, she had a Wordpress site she wasn't really using. The words on her site didn't feel like her, nor did the design. Making updates to the site without the help of a developer felt complicated so she didn't.
As I absorbed the inspiration images she shared with me and journeyed into the depth of her work, I realized she needed movement, flow, and a layered experience built into the design of her website. Because she's a yoga teacher trainer, spiritual guide, and workshop facilitator, it was also very important that she have the ability to add new classes, meditation recordings, and journal entries to her site with ease.
I designed her Squarespace site to comfortably fit her business right now, while also making sure that she has the right template and tools to accommodate future plans for her business.
In addition, I added a sleek opt-in bar to the footer of her site and gave it a slight glowing effect—to subtly draw the eye downward to the opt-in, rather than use an obtrusive pop-up to invite newsletter sign-ups.
It was an absolute joy to work with Tanis. The journey she has taken and the story of her work is incredible. Suffice it to say we had many wonderful conversations and I learned a lot from her.
Congratulations to my client and friend, Tanis Fishman! Be sure to visit Tanis' site and take a peek...
